The Haga Street is Gothenburgs most popular tourist street.
Originally it was a working class suburb established around the year 1850.
Today it serves as a shopping and café district.
THE FISH CHURCH

The Rosenlund channel area was the central hub for fish trade in the city from the year 1849.
The Fish "Church" was built on the main trading square in the style of a swedish church. The unusual design by the architect Victor von Gegerfeldt has made this building one of the most well known in the city of Gothenburg.
SKANSEN KRONAN

One of Gothenburgs 2 main fortresses.
Completed around the year 1690 for defensive purposes but never used in battle.
SLOTTSKOGEN PARK AND ZOO
1400 meters from the hotel
Gothenburgs main park, with a mix of planned park and natural forest. It offers cafés, playgrounds and a zoo with free entry. Here you can for a example see penguins, seals and elk.
The park annually hosts the festival Way Out West, the largest music festival in western Sweden.
